Privacy Notice

How this website handles your personal data. We practice what we advise.

What personal data we collect

The personal data you actively submit through the contact form includes your name, email address, organisation (optional), area of interest, and message.

This site uses no advertising cookies, analytics or behavioural tracking. The secure contact form sets a short-lived, strictly necessary session cookie to prevent forged submissions. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, also maintains standard server logs such as IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps for security and operation.

Purpose and lawful basis

Contact form details are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to carry that conversation forward. By submitting the form you voluntarily provide your data for this specified purpose.

Sharing and retention

  • Your enquiry is processed by our hosting and email providers to deliver it to us. It is not sold or added to marketing lists.
  • Unsuccessful enquiries are normally deleted within 12 months. If an engagement or legal/professional record-keeping obligation arises, relevant correspondence may be retained for the applicable engagement or statutory period.
  • For abuse prevention, the form temporarily stores one-way IP-derived identifiers and submission timestamps for up to 15 minutes.

Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal data of yours we hold, correct it, or erase it, subject to applicable law. Write to dpdp@ca-ap.org with the subject line “Data request”. Rights and escalation mechanisms apply in accordance with the phased commencement of the DPDP Act and Rules.
